"I'm intrigued by technology, how technology intersects with the physical world,
but most intrigued by how technology can express the spirit of people in the
physical world."
My current project at Do While is to explore the use of
virtual reality in two works of mine: in representing both an installation
I created for Haymarket People's Fund for the web, as well as being the
main vehicle for recreating an experience I had in visiting the site of
one of the Japanese Internment Camps during World War Two. This would
incorporate viewing the remains of physical buildings where people were
incarcerated interlaced with the listening to thoughts and memories of
both internees as well as those exploring the area for the first time,
mine and others.
