Artists in Residence Lab. QTVR by Elaine Yoneoka. 2000
Artists in Residence Program
The Artist in Residence Program at Do While Studio provides professional artists working in evolving technologies the opportunity to develop their work in a dynamic, technologically advanced environment. Three month residencies are available with a maximum of three residents each year. Do While Studio provides studio space for production and research, shared equipment access, and a community of professional artists with deep experience working with technology. Do While Studio does not supply
staff for teaching software applications or bulding hardware configurations. Limited technical consult is available free of charge to residents who request their specific needs in
their application.
Artists in Residence at Do While Studio are required to present their work publicly, to document their work online, to advance the mission of Do While Studio, and to share in community building.
Projects which are designed for community outreach or for educational purposes will be
considered for the program.
No honorarium is available. There is no fee to the artist.
